Stop the bleeding
Do not send another client to the frozen link. Every person who taps a dead payment method is someone who was going to pay you and now cannot.

Secure what is still accessible
If the account is limited rather than fully closed, you may still be able to withdraw a balance. Check before assuming you cannot.
Worth knowing: some platforms place an extended hold on funds during a review rather than releasing them. PayPal's reserve period is commonly cited as up to 180 days. Check the notice you were sent — it should state what applies to your account.

A client who taps a broken link and hears nothing assumes the worst. A short message from you first turns a problem into an admin note.
Copy and adapt
"Quick heads up — my usual payment link isn't working at the moment while the platform reviews my account. Nothing to worry about on your end. Here's another way to send it: [your link]. Let me know if anything doesn't go through."
Keep it short and factual. Don't promise an outcome you don't control, and don't say anything about the review you can't stand behind later.
Write the appeal
Most first responses are automated. Be specific about what you do, attach documentation, and ask for a person to review it.
